Fannie Flagg is an outstanding actress, screenwriter, director, comedienne, and author of the New York Times best selling Fried Green Tomatoes at the WhistleStop Cafe. Her highly successful and beloved novel became the basis for the much acclaimed movie Fried Green Tomatoes and earned the Scripter's Award, Writer's Guild of America, and Academy Award Nomination; for Best Screen Play for Ms. Flagg. The screenplay is being adapted for the stage, we hope to see it one day on Broadway. Fannie lives in California, but comes home to visit family and friends in Alabama from time to time. She is not only a great professional, but also one of the most wonderful people we've ever known.
