MarinadeMARINADE
We have been told that the WhistleStop marinade is the best on the market. It is a most versatile liquid that can add flavor to any thing. It is made with Kikkoman soy sauce as our base, a blend of spices, vinegar and a dash of real lemon juice. It enhances flavors… without using MSG. Use it to add flavor to soups and stews.

We are constantly hearing our customers tell us of new uses for this great marinade. It is also an excellent tenderizer for a less expensive cut of meat. To tenderize and enhance the flavors of steaks, chops, chicken, and ribs marinate in a zip lock bag. The longer the meat is marinated, the more tender and flavorful the meat will become.

For fish, use the marinade for 30 minutes or less. Vegetables are great when marinated and grilled, try zucchini, onions, mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, and tomatoes.

*Hot Wings
Place chicken pieces and marinade in a large Zip loc bag. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for several hours, or over night. In a separate bowl spice barBQ with hot sauce to taste. Discard marinade, place wings on a cookie sheet, baste with sauce. Baking at 350 for 40-50 minutes, turning frequently.

*Roasted Onions
Clean large sweet onions, but don’t peel them. Cut out the stalk end, leaving an opening the size of a dime. Pour 1 tsp of marinade into each onion. Bake @ 350 for 45-50 min.

*Pork Tenderloin
Marinate tenderloin in a large Zip-loc bag overnight or at least several hours. Wrap meat in foil. Grill for about 20 minutes. Unwrap and place directly on the grill for another 10-15 minutes. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

*Salmon with Marinated Vegetables
Lay several salmon steaks in a 9x13 baking dish, sprinkle with Grill-it. Add fresh mushrooms and slices of white and purple onion. Pour in 1/3 cup WhistleStop Marinade. Add 1/3 cup Italian dressing. Cover and let sit 10-20 minutes. Place in the oven @ 350 and bake 15-25 minutes until fish is flaky. Serve with rice and use the juice as a thin gravy.

*WhistleStop Pot Roast
Marinate a large roast in a zip lock bag. When ready to assemble, rub roast generously with Grill-it. In a crock-pot or dutch oven, place roast with a 2-3 Tbs marinade. Add new potatoes, onions and carrots to the pot. Cook until done.
