Original WhistleStop Batter mixes are developed from 40 years of cooking experience. When we started preparing them for market, our goal was to develop the best tasting and easiest to use batter available. From all of the letters and phone calls that our small company has received, we truly believe that we accomplished our goal. There are many different ways to use our mixes. Our Mixes are excellent cross-merchandising tools especially in produce and meat departments.

Fried Green Tomato Batter Mix
A delicate blend that coats well, enhances, yet allows the flavor of the vegetable being cooked to come through. It can be used on such year-round vegetables as: onion rings, zucchini, squash, egg plant, okra, mushrooms, great fried dill pickles and can be used as a tempura.   Our Fried Green Tomato is the most versatile batters on the market.
